The NHN Learning Alliance (NHNLA) is a national training and certification program for housing counselors. NHNLA courses are developed in collaboration with NCLR Homeownership Network (NHN) housing counseling agencies located in major cities and rural communities throughout the U.S.
The curriculum of the NHNLA is based on the streamlined delivery methods, strategies, and experience of the NHN and its participating agencies, managers, and counselors. The methods taught have been successfully replicated in more than 50 organizations in 20 states and 40 housing markets and are proven to increase the impact of local nonprofit housing agencies and effectively meet the needs of their communities. NHNLA courses provide housing counselors and managers with the training and information they need to be effective in the housing industry.
NHNLA courses are open to all housing counselor professionals—current and prospective—who are looking to advance their careers.
